The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing the company’s infrastructure to support a 24x7x365 platform. This dynamic role spans across disciplines including DevOps, SRE, CI/CD, cloud architecture, and information security.

Responsibilities, scope, and expectations will be adjusted based on your experience, with more complex and strategic tasks assigned to senior-level engineers, and foundational or guided work provided for those earlier in their careers. Regardless of level, this is a collaborative role focused on ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance across both cloud and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software delivery and operations.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration for efficiency and consistency.
- Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive risk management.
- Build dashboards and conduct performance testing to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement controlled failure simulations to enhance system resilience and fault tolerance.
- Enforce security best practices, including risk assessments, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with operational needs.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and recurrence.
- Maintain documentation for operational readiness and issue resolution.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to infrastructure roadmaps supporting long-term business and technical objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing scalable infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization and kubernetes
- Experience with Infra-As-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Github Actions
- Proficiency in Python or shell scripting (e.g., Bash).
- Hands-on experience with tools like Prometheus or Grafana
- Experience with vulnerability scanning (e.g., Nessus, Qualys) and implementing security best practices.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, or cloud-specific security frameworks.
- Incident Response: Experience participating in incident response, RCA, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript).
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies and distributed systems.
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., financial services).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS / GCP Certified Solutions Architect, CKA, Terraform Associate, CISSP, or other DevOps/cloud certifications).
Candidate must be located in EST/CST/MST to ensure team collaboration.
