Manager Professional Services/Project Management
YOUR IMPACT
You are responsible for providing leadership to a team of Project Managers, being knowledgeable in project methodologies, and integrating software and third-party products across various sectors. In addition, you will be responsible for forecasting team capacity and supporting the personal development of your team, allocating individuals to work tasks and projects, and providing support in resolving complex issues.
Additionally, you will provide mentoring and coaching to develop your team’s talents.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Providing accurate forecast information for your region to management
- Providing leadership to the team on best practices, reviewing project team deliverables for consistency.
- Providing day-to-day leadership for a team of project managers located in the Central region, primarily Germany & Benelux, including hiring, performance appraisals, goal setting, leadership, and coaching as needed.
- Championing continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Managing client relationships, expectations, and escalations.
- Maintaining and developing knowledge of the current and future company products.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Leadership qualities include developing staff, communicating vision, and inspiring teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and credibility quickly.
- Excellent judgment, Project Management, Commercial and Business knowledge with a keen ability to assess people, processes, and products.
- Experience in delivering projects on time, within budget, and required tolerances.
- Ability to provide accurate capacity forecasts against individual projects and resources.
- Extensive customer-facing experience.
- Previous experience in a leadership role (formal or informal), leading a small team of consultants is a plus.
- Very good German and English Language skills, both written and spoken
