Freelance Interior Designer

ARE YOU A FREELANCE INTERIOR DESIGNER (SPECIALISING IN WORKPLACE/ COMMERCIAL INTERIORS) LOOKING FOR A NEW OPPORTUNITY?

Our client based in Surbiton are on the look-out for an outgoing, creative Interior Designer to join their friendly, collaborative, and fun studio. Our client specialise in creating memorable environments; predominantly, our client focuses on Commercial Interiors & Architecture (including Cat A, Cat A plus, Cat B, Landlord Shell and Core refurbishments and fit-outs). Additionally, services for Workplace, Hospitality, Educational, Residential, and Retail design follow RIBA work stages throughout.

This role offers a competitive salary (discussion upon initial phone call), and a hybrid working structure (3 days studio-based and 2 working remotely).

As a Prospective Candidate, You Will NEED

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
• An excellent portfolio of Workplace and Commercial projects – Residential and Hotel interiors would be beneficial.
• Proficiency in hand-sketching.
• A good understanding of current trends in Interior Design.
• Knowledge of relevant products, furniture, and materials while also maintaining a good working relationship with suppliers and dealers.
• The ability and experience of being client facing, with prior experience of conducting meetings and presentations.
• Ability to work well within a team/collaborative environment.
