We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Design Technology to join our fantastic team at CHS South.Main Purpose Of The Job
The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, as outlined in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
These detail the professional and particular duties required of teachers, together with requirements for management time, working time, guaranteed planning and preparation time.
The school complies with these requirements in order to make reasonable demands of teachers. The post holder’s key responsibilities will be improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in their care.
About The Candidate
We’re looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and practical teacher to join our DT department at CHS South. Ideally you will have strong subject knowledge in CAD / CAM and be able to teach a variety of subjects within the curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current curriculum developments, good communication skills, and be able to plan and and develop appropriate learning activities.
We would also like candidates to have successful teaching experience in the relevant phase.
