Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD software and a strong understanding of drafting principles. The AutoCAD Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, or designers.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AutoCAD software to create accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints.
  • Interpret sketches, drawings, and specifications provided by architects, engineers, or designers.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare drawings and plans according to project specifications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards and specifications.
  • Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from team members or clients.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings and plans.
  • Assist in the preparation of project estimates and material lists as needed.
  • Stay updated on advancements in AutoCAD software and drafting techniques.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other drafting tools.
  • Strong understanding of drafting principles, techniques, and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in drafting, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
