Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Purchase Executive to join our procurement team at The Monarch Enterprises. The successful candidate will assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for the production of high-quality furniture. This role is crucial in ensuring that the production process runs smoothly and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in Procurement: Support the procurement team in sourcing raw materials, hardware, and other supplies needed for furniture manufacturing.

Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Order Processing: Prepare purchase orders, track orders, and ensure that all orders are received in good condition and on time.

Cost Control: Assist in analyzing market trends to identify potential cost savings and ensure procurement within the budget.

Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that all purchased materials meet the companys quality standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, suppliers, and delivery schedules.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on purchase activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.

Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience: 1-4 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.

Skills

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of the furniture manufacturing industry and supply chain management principles.
