Profile – Plant Logistics/Operations Manager

Qualification – PG Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Mgmt.

Experience – Minimum of 5 years in the transportation / fleet management (FTL/3PL/PTL) with good know how of industry and have exposure in placing all type of FTL vehicles on pan India basis..

Salary – Upto 6 LPA

Job Description

  • Co-ordinate with sales, business development , SCM, procurement and plant teams to ensure advance planning and timely placement of vehicles for collection of material from customers .
  • Align the vehicles, /Loading offloading as per reporting time
  • Ensures Brand SOP with respects to photographs and loading and off loading of vehicles and plant offloading team to adhere SOP with respect to loading, safety and compliances.
  • Prepare timely documentation with regards to various brand guidelines.
  • Prepare a tracker to ensure that the documentation and MIS are submitted, verified and uploaded in system timely.
  • Maintain all the relevant records neatly for audit.
  • Organize monthly meeting with vendors to review service levels and with internal customers to understand their specific requirements
  • Share information with Logistics Manager to seek solution for any exceptions and other routine operational difficulties if any.
  • Any other activities that are assigned on time to time based on the leave plans of other team members
