Title: Early Years Practitioner – Unqualified
Hours: 38 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £ 23,915.84 per annum

General Overview
- Provide opportunities for children to learn through play experiences that are cohesive with our practice and the EYFS, utilising the outdoors as much as possible.
- Provide a secure and stimulating environment where children can develop emotionally and intellectually as well as morally, physically, spiritually and socially, at their own pace.
- Maintain the safety, security and wellbeing of the children in our care.
- Undertake work positively as part of the team, contributing ideas and listening to feedback, to guide development of our practice and care.
Skills And Experience
- Possess an understanding that each one of us is different and ensure that individuals who use our services are respected and given the best experience.
- Experience of working with children under the the age of 5 years.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills and the ability to maintain clear and accurate records.
- Possess and maintain a solution-focused approach.
- Possess a belief in the value and potential of children and young people as individuals and as a group.
- Possess a natural empathy and passion for working with children.
- Team player but also able to work on own initiative.
- Self-motivated and flexible.
- Ability to provide emotional and social support whilst promoting learning and respect.
- Willingness to learn and accept leadership and mentoring input.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
- Commitment to providing a high standard of customer care.
- Flexible attitude and willing to adapt to new challenges.
Qualifications
- First Aid qualification or a willingness to learn.
- Working knowledge of health and safety and safe-guarding best practice.
