Employee Benefits Administrators Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Pensions Services (EBA) team in the capacity of:
Research Associate
Handle all queries related to former members of pension funds seeking information on benefits.
Manage plan adjustments and bank account clearing activities.
Location: Kingston
As a Research Associate, You Will
- Keep track of all queries regarding former members of pension funds that is not located on the deferred listing.
- Research queries received from pension administrators, the compliance team, Group Client Service or other relevant personnel, regarding former members:
- Communicate with all members once queries are received.
- Update the relevant stakeholders on the progress of the queries.
- Ensure all records related to former members are stored electronically to ensure ease of future access.
- Identify payments in the pension deposit bank account and work alongside relevant personnel to clear the amounts.
- Follow up with Pension Administrators to ensure that pension deposits are identified and advice given to Finance.
- Provide details of deliverables completed in assigned database.
- Where necessary, investigate any adjustments required to be made to pension plan accounts within the stipulated timeframes and make the necessary adjustments.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Minimum of an associate degree in Business Administration or related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Successful completion of the LOMA level I designation or certification in other industry specified courses.
- At least three (3) years working experience in a similar capacity.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages such as word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Researching skills.
