About The Role

As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team deploying the cutting-edge Thermal Hydrolysis Process (THP) used in wastewater sludge management. You will manage a wide range of projects, including Equipment Supply, EPC, and Upgrades of existing THP plants. You will be part of the Project Manager team within the Operations department.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

  • Manage Projects and Upgrades throughout their entire life cycle.
  • Execute projects in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Foster strong project team cooperation based on Cambi values.
  • Maintain extensive contact and collaboration with customers.
  • Oversee partners, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Source locally key auxiliary equipment and packages.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards.
  • Prepare and follow up on plans, reporting on progress and finances.

Experience

Key Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the water, wastewater, sludge treatment, pulp and paper or process industry.
  • And 10 years of experience in roles such process engineer, package engineer, engineering manager in the water, wastewater, sludge treatment, pulp and paper or process industry.
  • Ideally, proven track record in the modification and upgrade of process plants.

Education

  • A Master’s degree (MSc) or equivalent in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, process, environmental).

Skills And Expertise

  • Experience working in national, international, and multicultural environments.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation and management of complex process plant installations.
  • Skilled in the procurement of packages and equipment.
  • Proven expertise in manufacturing follow-up, inspection, and expediting.
  • Exposure to manufacturing and/or operation of pressure vessels, boilers, and heat exchangers is a plus.
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to gain hands-on experience in plant operation.

Communication

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in one Scandinavian language is highly desirable; knowledge of additional languages such Spanish, French, German is an advantage.
