Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited senior high school or

equivalent or GED.

  • Six months full-time, wage-earning clerical, secretarial,

administrative support, or technical program support

experience. Fifteen semester hours from a college or university

accredited by the Council for Higher Education (CHEA) or by the

United States Department of Education (USDE) may be substituted

for each six months of experience.

  • Must have a valid driver license.

Must maintain a valid license for continued employment in

position.

The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will

be $2,481.75.

The following Military Occupational Specialty codes are generally

applicable to this position. Applicants must fully complete the

summary of experience to determine if minimum qualifications are met.

This vacancy is a position within the Office of the Independent Ombudsman

which is governed by and reports directly to the Texas Board of

Criminal Justice.
