Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice and Expense Processing: Handle all invoices and expenses with accuracy and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Billing Assistance: Support the preparation of client billings, ensuring timely and precise submissions.
  • Job Costing: Apply costs to jobs effectively and maintain accurate job cost records.
  • Payroll Coordination: Process time entries and collaborate with the controller on payroll tasks.
  • Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Maintain organized records of vendors and subcontractors in the system and ensure efficient filing.
  • Communication: Exhibit excellent communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and clients professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and job costing principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
