ClearSource is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant with a strong knowledge of QuickBooks to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
What You Will Do As An Accountant
- Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and receipts
- Track accounts receivable and follow up on overdue invoices
- Perform regular bank, credit card, and account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in financial records
- Calculate and process employee salaries, benefits, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with tax and labor laws
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to appropriate authorities
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management
- Provide financial data and insights to support strategic decision-making
- Assist in creating and monitoring budgets to track company performance against financial goals
- Complete all necessary month-end and year-end accounting processes
- Prepare records for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data
What ClearSource Needs from You
- At least 2-3 years of experience as an Accountantor in a related role
- US GAAP experience required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop and/or online versions) with hands-on experience in managing complex financial transactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Solid understanding of intermediate accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accuracy in financial records
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Experience with tax preparation and compliance is a plus
- Must work on-site
