Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of identifying and qualifying new business opportunities that fit Pearson VUE’s offerings.
- Stay up-to-date on our products and services
- Create and deliver professional presentations to clients and prospects.
- Respond to clients, prospects, and partners promptly and professionally.
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline in the Pearson VUE CRM system and share updates with the team.
- Follow our bid management process closely, involving the right teams and ensuring top-quality proposals for RFQs, RFPs, and tenders.
- Take the lead on key aspects of sales proposals, including solution design, partner involvement, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Build a strong understanding of your assigned market sector and keep an eye on trends and opportunities.
- Represent Pearson VUE at events like seminars and exhibitions.
- Keep the team updated on your progress, with regular reports and contributions to meetings.
- Aim to meet 3–4 prospects each week to keep things moving forward.
Must-Haves
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Technology or Business.
- Minimum 5 years of success in solution selling, especially multi-year contracts.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a virtual team.
- Strong PC and tech skills.
- Experience managing the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work outside the usual 9-to-5 when needed.
- A proven track record in consultative sales and the patience to navigate long sales cycles.
- Comfort with technology-oriented solutions and engaging with senior decision-makers.
- A target-driven approach to work.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with the assessment and testing industry.
- Experience in the public tendering process in Saudi Arabia and UAE.
Working Hours and Travel
This is a full-time role, with core hours Sunday to Thursday. You’ll also need to travel regionally and internationally as required.
