Required Qualifications

Requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • An advanced degree (PhD, EdD) and a minimum of 5 years of experience instituting research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative) as part of scholarly work in social sciences; research administration experience is helpful.
  • An established reputation in the field of educational scholarship. An emphasis in health sciences education is preferred, but other areas of higher education will be considered.
  • A record of accomplishment of scholarly achievement as evidenced by grant funded research and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work closely and collaboratively with IAE leadership team, IAE members, educators, researchers and professionals with diverse backgrounds. This position touches all colleges and institutes of UNMC as well as outside clinical and educational partners.

This hybrid position allows for a blend of on-campus and remote work. Employees are expected to be on campus at least three days per week, with flexibility in selecting specific days unless otherwise directed. Additionally, attendance at all scheduled on-campus events is mandatory to ensure full participation in key IAE activities and responsibilities.
