Admissions Coordinator Position Summary
The Admissions Coordinator provides support for referrals to the Alice B Tawes Nursing Home and the Chesapeake Cove Assisted Living. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for developing census and quality mix by providing prospective patients and/or responsible parties with
appropriate information and assistance to the nursing center. This role works collaboratively with acute care and other post-acute partners supporting marketing to other health care providers and community members.
Education
Admissions Coordinator Position Requirements
- Associate’s degree in healthcare or business preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years health care experience
- Knowledge of insurance billing to include Medicare and Medicaid.
