Job Description
This is a role that requires effective communication with the customer, excellent teamwork abilities, time and project management skills, and the ability to be flexible and willing to help the sales team achieve successful long-term results.
Here’s a day in the life:
- Input and actively manage annual business plans in Trade Management System.
- Subject Matter Expert on contracts and agreements with retailers.
- Tracking orders and in-stock levels via various reporting.
- Analyze key Tillamook product categories and segments identifying capacity, forecast accuracy, retailer shelf availability, along with other operational efficiencies to be utilized for the Sales Department decision-making.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills
- Establish and maintain a partnership with the Retailer to ensure effective communication for the development of strategic and promotional plans.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, the customer, and the public.
- Coordinate efforts between Regional Sales Managers, Warehouse, Logistics, and Retailer(s) leading to operational recommendations for promotional efficiencies and in-stock levels.
- Act as a team player and able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.
- Meet deadlines and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Utilize MS Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience with trade management systems, ideally in the food or beverage industry, is required.
- Experience communicating directly with retailers regarding promotional plans, forecasting, and inventory management.
