About Our Client
Our client is a global hedge fund establishing an office in Geneva. They invest in global public equities, and favour a long-short approach, driven by in-depth proprietary research, multi-year holding periods and portfolio concentration.
What the job involves
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on diverse sectors, geographies, companies and industries to identify investment opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate companies’ key valuation drivers and build related-financial models supporting investment hypothesis. Collaborating with the team to support the investment decision-making process.
- Participate in investor conferences and industry events, interview industry experts, and monitor companies to generate views and opinions.
Who we are looking for
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field from a leading institution
- Previous experienced gained in Investment Banking (M&A Advisory, Equity Research), Top-Management Consultancy, or in a Buyside environment (Private Equity or Hedge Fund)
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, and present these in a clear and concise manner
