Position Overview:

The Category Executive will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of category management within the e-commerce business for Sugar.fit, focusing on both quick commerce & D2C Platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Q-comm or D2C companies and have experience scaling businesses on similar platforms. The role will have an 80% emphasis on Q-comm and 20% on D2C.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and maximize sales on platforms like Zepto, Swiggy, Blinkit, Bigbasket, D2C and other new retail platforms, with a higher emphasis on marketplaces.

2. Product Management: Oversee the product catalog, ensuring that listings are accurate, optimized for search, and visually appealing.

3. Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.

4. Promotions and Revenue Planning: Plan and execute promotional campaigns, including pricing

strategies, discounts, and advertising to boost visibility and sales.

5. Inventory Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure adequate stock levels and manage inventory efficiently across all platforms.

6. Customer Feedback: Monitor customer reviews and feedback to continuously improve product

offerings and customer satisfaction.

7. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with platform account managers to ensure optimal support and collaboration.

8. Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and campaign effectiveness to senior management.

9. User Acquisition & Retention: Drive new user acquisition and optimize user retention strategies to grow the customer base.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 3+ years of experience in managing and scaling brands on major q-commerce platforms.

2. Proven track record of driving significant growth and achieving sales targets.

3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

4. Proficiency in handling Shopify Websites and Analytical Tools.

5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

6. Experience with promotional planning and execution.

7. Proficiency in e-commerce analytics tools and platforms.

8. MBA preferred, but not mandatory.

9.Must have worked on any of the following platforms Zepto, Swiggy, Blinkit, Bigbasket.

Preferred Background:

1. Experience in scaling brands on similar platforms from a brand perspective.

2. Strong understanding of the quick commerce landscape and consumer behavior.

3. A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
