Specific responsibilities
- Conduct necessary procurement processes according to NRC logistics policies, procedures and donor guidelines.
- Receive requisitions and source bids & quotations for purchasing goods and services by NRC procurement regulations identification and obtaining all resources required to ensure smooth functioning of field logistic operations.
- Act as a focal point for managing the assets inside the Amman hub for both Gaza and CO staff. Issuance of Check-in Check-out forms, asset tagging and tracking and data entry on UNIT4/ Agresso.
- Follow up on the delivery schedule of national/international suppliers.
- Communicate any incoming delivery to the Logistics Cluster and follow up on loading/offloading per Jordan Corridor SOPs of the Log Cluster.
- Act as a focal point for submission and follow-up of pre-clearance requests under the UN2720 mechanism, Service Request Forms to Logistics Cluster and customs clearance documents.
- Act as an information bridge between the supplier, Gaza Logistics team, Logistics Cluster and, if/when required, JHCO.
- Ensure all paper trails of Jordan Corridor operations are archived according to NRC procedures.
- Issuing PO/contracts and contract amendment if necessary and ensuring monitoring of all PO/contract statutes till delivery.
- Compile and Submit Amman hub procurement files to the finance focal point for payment.
- Provide regular updates to requesters and other stakeholders. Regularly check procurement plans and be aware of upcoming requests.
- Update tracking sheets, contracts and supplier records. Provide monthly reporting information for procurement and deliveries on the Jordan corridor.
- Ensure all logistics archived filings follow NRC’s guidelines and SSD’s SOP.
- Responsible for any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
- At least 2 years of UN/INGO experience working in the Logistics Department.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stress.
- Written and oral fluency in English and Arabic.

This position is Grade (05) Step (01). Salary & Benefits are based on Amman Duty Station.
Reports to: Amman Hub Support Coordinator.

Contract Duration: 6 months renewable based on the need of the position, fund and performance.
