PURPOSE AND OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION

The adidas Global Digital Activation team builds digital campaigns that give our consumers the best experience of our brand. We are looking for an agile, dynamic expert with digital marketing knowledge dedicated to executing and support own digital-ecosystem campaigns rollouts and be a solid bridge between the Business Units stakeholders (BUs) and markets ‘digital local teams to build and advocate for excellence in digital execution end 2 end campaigns.

In this role, you will work with global stakeholders (Sr Digital Activation Manager, Global Digital Content, BUs and digital agencies) as local partners (markets´ digital activation/visual merchandising/planning/engagement teams.

As a Global Digital Activation Manager at adidas you are accountable for overseeing the end-to-end global digital campaigns and leading key milestones processes ensuring all our consumer experience is seamless, consistent, elevated in our own digital channels (adidas app/confirmed app/.com/CRM). Your task is to oversee and support the roll-out of these campaigns, committed to quality and timeframe. You will partner with Sr Digital Activation manager to work together and ensure all global and local stakeholders (Operations, Brand, Markets, Agencies, Loyalty programs, Product) are aligned while advocating to implement brand and digital vision in our digital ecosystem.

Also, you will be the markets´ eyes and ears to understand what to start/continue/stop doing, gathering insights and data to bring relevant and data-based feedback to stakeholders under the “continues improvement” model. Other responsibilities will include calendar updates, budget control and official digital communications – with the support of the Sr Digital Activation Manager. Specifically, working in the Entertainment Partners and Basketball category, you will be co-responsible for delivering the biggest campaigns for adidas lifestyle collections as well as with partners. This also comes with additional complexities, such as partner approval and last-minute changes, so timings can become challenging at times.

This is an exciting category to work for and it demands a high level of dedication and commitment. You will be working with stakeholders in Bogotá, Portland, Los Angeles and Europe, overseeing multiple campaigns at once and will need to manage your time efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • GLOBAL DIGITAL CAMPAIGN ACTIVATION SUPPORT
    • Lead key milestones within the execution of Global digital campaigns and seasonal projects for the Business Units and markets end-to-end across all stakeholders, including initial briefing, creative and technical development, integration and localization, user testing and quality assurance to post-launch A/B testing and optimization
    • Support cross-functional digital teams, Business Units, local markets and external agencies towards delivery to meet the expected deadlines and quality
    • Identify strategic delivery issues on time and flag to relevant stakeholders for a proper solution. Safeguard the delivery of critical scope items throughout each campaign
    • Identify needs for new capabilities in your area of responsibility
    • Gather insights and data from markets to understand what worked well and where do we have opportunities of improvement
  • MONITORING & SUCCESS MEASUREMENT
    • Ensure that deliverables meet the brief, agreed scope, and timelines
    • Review detailed content to ensure proper dates, assets, copies are being delivered
    • Monitor defined success KPIs. Optimize implementations based on results and insights
  • OPTIMIZATION
    • Leverage the collaboration level with stakeholders of the Business Units and local markets within your category area of responsibility, contributing to best practices for digital production and continuously improving the execution process

Requisite Education And Experience/Minimum Qualifications

  • Education/apprenticeship in digital marketing, digital communications, IT, digital business, or a related field preferred.
  • Brand/Marketing experience, leading 360 execution plans
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive work in a digital field. Work experience in mid to large-scale project management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web development or design is a plus.
  • Any experience with digital production, content marketing and eCommerce is preferred.
  • Computer and technology skills: proficiency in standard office programs and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (spoken, written, reading)
