The A Side: A Day in The Life

This exciting role sits within the Central Accounting team who serve the UK Recorded Music Label Groups, supporting the AP & AR Manager in leading the Accounts Receivable function.

  • Ensure prompt collection and supervision of the company’s debt across our dynamic customer portfolio.
  • Oversee billing processes companywide driving control, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate and timely cash allocation alongside our offshore teams.
  • Maintain robust KYC protocols within our customer onboarding process.
  • Be the first point of contact for all Universal Music business units, establishing good communication with the key stakeholders, managing relationships both internally and externally whilst delivering the highest possible service to our customers across the group.
  • Work closely with our offshore partners to enhance our receivable processes and maintain set KPIs.

The B Side: Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years working in a similar role within a large organisation (desirable)
  • Previous experience in working with outsourced functions (desirable)
  • Previous experience with SAP, SAP Business Object Analysis for Office (desirable)
  • Medium to Advanced knowledge of Excel (preferred)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
