About The Role
As an Analyst in the Digital Analytics Chapter, you will play a pivotal role in empowering stakeholders to make data-driven decisions that deliver measurable value within the digital space. Your insights and expertise will be integral to guiding strategic initiatives and optimizing digital performance across the organization.
Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.
What will your day look like?
- Act as the subject matter expert for Digital data and the wider Adobe Tech Stack, supporting squads in effectively self-serving data and utilizing analytics tools.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver detailed analysis and build dashboards within Adobe Analytics, whilst also contributing to projects that integrate both online and offline data.
- Ensure accurate digital data is captured by scoping new functionality and reviewing current implementation (debugging the Data Layer and Tags), addressing any issues and escalating them as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve the user interface and optimize administrative functions in Adobe Analytics, such as classifications and standard segments, to enhance end user experience and data accessibility.
What will you bring?
- Previous experience in digital analytics, with a strong preference for familiarity with the Adobe Tech Stack, allowing you to effectively leverage its tools to aid analysis and reporting.
- A robust analytical skill set, with the ability to translate business goals into clear, measurable KPIs that guide decision-making and drive performance.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to educate non-data practitioners, empowering them to adopt a data-first approach in their daily operations and decision-making processes.
- Good business acumen with an understanding of marketing and website traffic.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to present findings and insights to a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable takeaways.
- Experience working with data platforms and a working knowledge of query languages such as Python and SQL.
- A solid understanding of ID resolution and the processes involved in handling and processing digital data, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting across platforms.
You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills. At ANZ a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we’d love to hear from you.
