Job Description
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of recruiting experience, with a strong background in sourcing and hiring for IT and technology consulting positions, including recruiting for government contracting positions requiring clearances. While experience recruiting for government roles requiring security clearances is highly desirable, this role will focus on filling positions across all departments. In addition to recruitment responsibilities, the HR Recruiter will support onboarding processes and collaborate on HR projects and initiatives to ensure a seamless employee experience.

NOTE: This is a fully remote position but candidates must be located within EST or CST time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers for a variety of internal roles across multiple departments.
- Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements, develop job descriptions, and implement tailored recruitment strategies.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, and professional networks to proactively identify top talent.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline to support current and future hiring needs across the organization.
- Onboarding Facilitation: Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth handoff to hiring managers and other HR team members, ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Communication & Attention to Detail: Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with candidates, hiring managers, HR Team members, and other stakeholders. Ensure proper documentation and organization throughout the recruiting lifecycle, and have a process for categorizing job descriptions, capturing recruiting plans, communicating hiring expectations, and ensuring proper capture of candidate information and interview notes, etc.
- Collaboration on HR Initiatives: Work with other HR team members as needed to support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, training, sharing best practices, or policy updates.
- Candidate Experience: Deliver a professional and engaging candidate experience, serving as a positive ambassador for the company.
- Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Market Research: Stay informed about trends in the job market, salary benchmarks, and best practices to attract and retain top talent.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including roles across various functions (e.g., IT, sales, account management, finance, and operations).
- Government Recruitment Expertise: Familiarity with recruiting for government roles requiring security clearances (e.g., Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of recruiting for IT roles and other specialized positions.
- Performance: Must have proven experience filling roles with qualified applicants under strict deadlines and timelines.
- Tools: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), such as BambooHR, Greenhouse.io, JazzHR, etc., and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter or other job boards. Preferred experience with Paylocity ATS for recruiting and onboarding.
- Onboarding Experience: Familiarity with coordinating onboarding processes to ensure a positive start for new hires.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage candidates and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities while maintaining accuracy and organization.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to identify and resolve recruitment challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience using Paylocity’s ATS
- Experience working in federal IT contracting or government-related industries.
- Knowledge of OFCCP compliance and related federal hiring regulations.
