About The Role

Location: Remote, United States

Duration: 6 month contract

Reports To: Senior Manager Talent Engagement

Compensation: $65,000 to $85,000 per year

CodePath is looking for a Sourcer who is interested in having an outsized impact on the growth of CodePath. As the fifth team member on CodePath’s Talent Engagement team, you will be a driving force in the rapid scaling of CodePath as we look to serve 100,000 computing students annually by 2030 and to train engineers who will generate over $1.5T in wealth for low-income communities within the next 20 years.

While CodePath is a national non-profit organization, we operate as a technical start-up. As such in this role, you will be given ownership and autonomy in your work and expected to ensure robust tops of funnels for many different roles. You will be expected to act as an ambassador of the brand and must have the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment.

In this role you will across all teams sourcing on our most critical roles including Marketing (Brand, Communications, Content), Philanthropy, Programs, Curriculum, Instructors, Business Operations, Software Engineering, Data Science and Product Management.

Key Activities

  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiting teammates to develop sourcing strategies for key roles
  • Craft thoughtful candidate outreach messaging to engage passive talent
  • Develop a deep understanding of CodePath’s mission and offerings, and communicate them effectively with candidates
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques and creative strategies to build a consistent and diverse pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Execute on strategies to identify, attract, and engage with the best talent (sourcing, referrals, first-round screening, and more)
  • Collect metrics to present to our organization’s leadership on Talent Engagement efforts

Key Qualifications

  • Deeply motivated by CodePath’s mission to transform computer science education
  • 3+ years of sourcing experience in a fast-paced start-up environment with autonomy
  • Deep knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and Gem
  • Enough passion and depth to learn the basic technical fundamentals of the positions for which you’re hiring
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates

  • Technical recruiting experience in software and highly specialized roles

Pay range

$65,000—$85,000 USD
