Associate, Yes! for Equity

This Associate position is in PSE’s YES! For Equity portfolio and will lead the Just Youth Circle (JYC) – PSE’s regional movement for youth organizing. This role will lead efforts to grow the JYC – an ecosystem of youth-led coalitions, nonprofits, faith organizations, government agencies, philanthropic groups, and community leaders in 11 states (GA, TN, SC, NC, FL, KY, VA, LA, AL, MS, AR) in the southeast region. The Associate will promote racial equity and youth power building as a means to identify, disrupt, and dismantle inequitable systems that impact historically marginalized youth and the communities they live in. This role will organize and engage youth leaders at the local, state, and regional levels by leading trainings, facilitating convenings, conducting research, and supporting our Youth Staff’s and external partner’s youth-led advocacy/organizing efforts. This is a paid, full-time position that requires occasional weekend travel and hours.

The Associate will be responsible for programmatic and administrative support for the department Manager and Director.
