ASSISTANT BRAND MANAGER – FRAGRANCE & BEAUTY

Location: CHANEL – Toronto, Ontario

Reports to: Brand Managers – Fragrance & Beauty

Contract: Full-time and permanent position

Your role @Chanel:

As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will work in direct collaboration with the Brand Managers to execute the Marketing plans for CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty. You will be responsible for the coordination and production of promotional materials, development of marketing guidelines and liaising with the Sales Force. You will also complete various business analyses for the marketing department under the direction of the brand managers.

What impact you can create at Chanel:

Development and production of promotional materials

  • You will coordinate the production of support materials to meet the needs of the business – ensuring work is on time, within budget and respecting brand guidelines
  • You will be responsible for sourcing and working with suppliers to ensure best costs, while ensuring timely execution and quality production

Marketing support: Presentations / Books / Guidelines

  • You will participate in the preparation, production and presentation of the seasonal key meetings (retailer meetings, F&B seminars)
  • You will assist in the development of PowerPoint presentations as required
  • You will ensure the production of the marketing tools are completed for each campaign

Forecast

  • You will assist the Brand Managers in the forecast of all collateral materials
  • You will monitor and suggest replenishing orders for all non-saleable elements (testers, samples, etc.)

Analysis

  • You will measure the effectiveness of various marketing initiatives (including campaigns, events, KPIS, costs, benefits, etc.)
  • You will participate in competitive reviews, market studies and any other analysis that would assist the marketing team to better understand the business opportunities within the Canadian market

Coordination with Merchandising & Events team

  • You will liaise with the merchandising POS team to ensure perfect implementation of the campaign guidelines
  • You will collaborate with the team in the creation & implementation of in-store events & outposts

Retailer Communication

  • You will prepare communication on marketing programs

Market visit

  • You will ensure the flawless execution of the campaign guidelines, pictures of stores and postmortem feedbacks

What you will bring to the role:

  • 3+ years of work experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business and/or Marketing
  • Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel and data analysis
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Timeline-driven with a proven ability to prioritize
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Bilingual (English and French), an asset
