Job Description
We are currently looking for a Financial Data Analyst to join our team remotely from Lebanon and support in building financial models, analyzing financial data, and contributing to business decision-making processes. This position will work closely with IT and finance teams to ensure effective financial systems and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards using Power BI.
- Analyze financial data and create insightful reports to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to gather and interpret financial data.
- Design and implement financial systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide technical support and training to the finance team on Power BI and other financial tools.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
- Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized data warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst with a solid understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Proficiency in Power BI (creating dashboards and reports).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial software.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Experience with financial systems like Oracle Hyperion and Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
