Job Overview

West Coast Pharmaceuticals Works Limited is seeking a Senior Chartered Accountant to join our team in Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 10 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in taxation, financial analysis, and accounting standards.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Proficiency in taxation, including filing and compliance (Mandatory skill)
  • Strong capabilities in financial analysis for business performance evaluation (Mandatory skill)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and principles (Mandatory skill)
  • Experience in preparing accurate financial reports and statements
  • Expertise in auditing and related processes to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial records
  • Sound understanding of risk management strategies in the financial sector
  • Proven experience in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Strategic financial planning skills to support long-term organizational goals

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with taxation laws and regulations, including timely filing and payment
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain and enforce proper accounting practices complying with current standards
  • Prepare periodic financial statements, reports, and summaries accurately and on time
  • Oversee internal and external audits, addressing any findings promptly and effectively
  • Develop and implement effective risk management policies and strategies
  • Ensure the company’s financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation
  • Collaborate with top management on strategic financial planning initiatives
