Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all aspects of Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement across the facility.
Implement and maintain programs aligned with 3rd party industry standards (e.g., SQF, AIB).
Lead SQF, FSMA, and HACCP initiatives, including training and advising teams.
Perform risk assessments on new ingredients and maintain HACCP registers.
Develop, review, and enforce GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and SSOPs to ensure product integrity.
Conduct and lead regulatory and customer audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
Work closely with R&D and Production teams on new product launches and process improvements.
Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods for process evaluation and enhancement.
Drive employee development through training initiatives and quality awareness programs.
Establish aContinuous Improvement Planbased on data trends, customer feedback, and audit results.
