Job Description

What we do

Cambrium’s mission is to trigger the next wave of material innovation by harnessing biology’s molecular building blocks. We fundamentally believe that the ability to align economic and environmental incentives makes biology the most important manufacturing technology of the 21st century. Using our molecular design technology, we create novel material building blocks with previously inaccessible functionalities. Our molecules enable innovators to create products that are better for people, and the planet.

At Cambrium, we’ve successfully developed an innovative product for the polymers market, and are currently starting to scale our first Polymers partnership. But we’re just at the beginning. Our world-class research team is already working on new products for coatings, foams, adhesives, fiber, and other performance materials. We are now gearing up to bring these products to market and scale our operations.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity. We consider all applications equally regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or gender identity. We strongly encourage individuals from groups traditionally underrepresented in tech to apply, and we can help with immigration.

Please also apply if you don’t match the criteria exactly, but still feel like you would be a good fit. Minor mismatches can often discourage great candidates, especially those who belong to minorities, from applying. We believe that potential and grit beat experience – we want to get to know you beyond your CV.
