Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a young person centred, forward-thinking individual to join our Children’s Continuing Care Team based in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) to cover a period of maternity leave. This is an exciting time to join our friendly and supportive team and be an active part of ongoing service development, providing the post holder with a unique opportunity to gain knowledge, skills and experience within a specialist area of CAMHS.

Due to maternity cover this post is fixed term/secondment until 6th January 2026. You must obtain permission from your current line manager if you are interested in applying as a secondment position.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

• To provide a case management role to children and young people who are referred for and who are assessed as eligible for Continuing Care
• Contribution to the development and implementation of an appropriate package of care
• Undertaking regular placement and eligibility reviews
