Administrative Manager – India

Hybrid- Chennai, India

What is the Job all about?

Grundfos India is a growing and thriving workplace. The person leading the Admin function for the country will be overall responsible for the optimal performance of the administration, operations and control of service providers and functional activities through task, guidance, direction setting and motivation of the team. S/he will be accountable for maintaining the safety and upkeep of all company property documents and ensuring that they comply to all legal & statutory requirements for effective functioning.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop plans to maintain an efficient, productive, safe and harmonious work environment.
  • Overall responsible for administration of all India locations – plants and offices.
  • Responsible for maintaining property documents, legal and statutory compliances, and timely approvals.
  • On time renewal of service providers agreements and building lease agreements.
  • Plan and effectively manage multi-disciplinary services such as reception and front desk operations, security, housekeeping, catering, gardening, waste disposal, pest control, parking, and so on.
  • Lead, guide, evaluate and develop employees to ensure that the department achieves objectives through high quality delivery.
  • Establish and meet functional KPI targets.
  • Prepare admin budget, monitor expenses and prepare reports.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and prepare guidelines, policies, regulations and policies
  • Ability to create and enforce collaborative efforts across relevant functional areas

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience and discipline
  • 12-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge and best practices on Administration, vendor selection and legal compliances.
  • Strong knowledge in service providers selection and contractual terms
  • Strong ability to lead and /or influence others.
  • Strong ability to enable the admin area as a business and organizational differentiator.
