Job Description Summary

Our organization is seeking a Procurement Analyst to assist with vendor management. In this role, you will focus on finding the best suppliers to support our business needs. When we need to order materials from a vendor, you will issue a detailed purchase order outlining the price of the materials and the delivery timeline set in the contract.

Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Data collection & analysis for various clients’ accounts.
  • Manage technological systems for building up & integrating procurement transformations.
  • Discuss on vendor contracts, including process to be followed prices, delivery timelines, and shipping methods.
  • Developing formats & templates for various strategic initiatives on Procurement practices.
  • Build long-term relationships with vendors in the industry.
  • Review contract specifications on behalf of the company
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure that the process & policies are followed in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in procurement transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency
  • Create and implement regional procurement strategies that are innovative, cost- effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within industry
  • Conduct routine cost-benefit analysis and contribute to continual process improvement
  • Follow up vendors for assigned contracts to be completed on time
  • Compare proposals for price and specifications if required.
  • Recommend vendors/suppliers strategically based on the cost and quality of their materials in the assigned markets & as per experience.
  • Negotiate with vendors cross countries strategically.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Professional degree in business administration, logistics or similar relevant fields
  • Previous working experience as a Procurement resource for 3-5 years
  • Complete knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms & IFM knowledge preferably.
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Negotiation aptitude.
  • Must be a strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships with individuals and client representatives.
  • Has a strong knowledge of Excel, Power Point & some of the procurement platforms
