Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Podar International School in Hubballi. This full-time, junior-level position requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess essential skills in nursing practice to ensure the health and well-being of our students, while supporting the educational environment effectively.
Qualifications And Skills
- Possess a BSc in Nursing, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles and practices (Mandatory skill).
- Experience working within a school environment to adequately handle health-related concerns of children (Mandatory skill).
- Must be female as per the position requirements to address gender-specific health needs (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in patient care, focusing on promoting and restoring students’ health and well-being.
- Solid medical knowledge to accurately assess, diagnose, and manage illnesses appropriately within a school setting.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff regarding health-related issues.
- Empathy and compassion in dealing with students to foster a supportive and understanding environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough documentation and monitoring of students health records and needs.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, ensuring their health needs are effectively met.
- Conduct regular health assessments, screenings, and health education sessions for students and staff.
- Administer first aid and emergency care in case of accidents or sudden illnesses, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students and report any health-related concerns to the administration.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions.
- Ensure that the school environment complies with health standards and regulations.
