Objective
Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Director is responsible for the company’s sales force development and sales execution in the US. You will be expected to hit or exceed our revenue growth plan by developing and driving our independent sales force with the support of our Sales and Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have success working in a “startup environment”, willing to roll up your sleeves when necessary to lead by example.
Responsibilities
- Coach & Develop a team of Sales Regionals Managers & Beauty Influencers to assist in driving the growth and productivity of our independent sales force through a variety of avenues, including recruiting events, team meetings, and incentives
- Work alongside Marketing to implement incentive strategies and proactively drive regional market development through opportunity events, social media, PR
- Lead, energize, and train the independent sales force to recruit and increase sales
- Monitor field force perception of earning opportunity, make timely recommendations on adjustments needed
- Develop direct reports to perform in current position and be able to take higher levels of responsibility in the future and manage direct reports to deliver outstanding performance/results
- Develop compensation and incentive programs for our internal sales team to ensure maximum sales productivity and recruiting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field of study
- 7+ years of experience in MLM sales leadership, at the managerial level, with a recognizable direct sales company in the U.S.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Excellent history of achievement/track record in sales & recruiting
- Strong analytical capability and solid strategic thinking with results orientation
- Demonstrated success in building and running a field development sales team across North America
- Strategic thinking capability
- Excellent communicator – oral and written
- Prior association and/or experience in multicultural or international environment desired but not necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Decisive and proactive
- Flexible, charismatic, self-confident
- Energizes and inspires team to obtain high standard of performance
- Willingness to travel at least 50%
