We believe in collaboration, mutual respect, open communication, and opportunity for growth.ICF is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to work within a dynamic and highly innovative team environment in our Innovation & Customer Engagement Group.?The IT Business Analyst will support tasks within the software development cycle and be responsible for system data together with the business intelligence it provides. Support project delivery on IT projects for the energy efficiency and utility sectors, including partnering with ICF subject matter experts on project execution.
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate on all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools.
- Partner with stakeholders to define system requirements and design approaches tailored to program needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through status updates, presentations, and regular meetings.
- Develop expertise in client processes, recommending and implementing technology solutions to enhance efficiency and reporting.
- Coordinate with senior technologists to deliver high-quality IT solutions on time and within scope.
- Support end-users through training and provide one-on-one technical assistance.
What We Need You To Have (minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)
- 2+ years of relevant experience in IT business analysis or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience working with developers and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and systems are functioning as intended.
- 2+ years of experience developing system documentation, such as requirements specifications, use cases, design documents, test plans, and scripts.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
What We Would Like You To Have
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams and coordinate with diverse program stakeholders.
- Knowledge of content management systems, including user roles, configuration, and content editing.
- Familiarity with SQL, HTML, and reporting tools like Microsoft Power BI or Cognos.
- Experience in data integration, testing software, and issue tracking.
- Understanding of project management methodologies, including change, configuration, and release management.

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$72,402.00 – $123,084.00
