Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager – PTO & Hydraulic Facility to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of the technical aspects of product development and lifecycle management for vocational trucks, including truck-mounted equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address customer needs, maintain the highest quality standards, and drive the achievement of strategic product objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for the design, operation, and maintenance of heavy-duty vocational trucks and truck-mounted equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to transmission Power Take Off systems and basic hydraulic systems
- Develop and implement technical solutions to improve product performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure product specifications align with customer requirements and industry standards
- Develop and own the product strategy for vocational truck-mounted equipment, balancing customer needs and market opportunities
- Define product requirements, manage feature releases, and ensure timely delivery of product updates
- Coordinate activities across departments, including sales, engineering, and operations, to ensure cohesive product development and management
- Monitor product pricing and exchange rates to ensure accurate and competitive pricing strategies
- Review and approval of inventory stock orders to maintain optimal inventory levels and operational efficiency
- Analyze market trends, evaluate competitive products, and recommend strategies to enhance product offerings
- Act as the main point of contact for suppliers and customers, maintaining strong, positive relationships
- Prioritize product requests and projects to maximize business value and resource efficiency.
- Create and maintain detailed product documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials
- Manage multiple products from various vendors across national and international branches.
- Organize and prioritize tasks effectively to respond quickly to changing demands
- Identify and resolve product-related issues, applying a proactive problem-solving approach
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience in the heavy-duty vocational truck industry
- Working knowledge of vocational trucks and auxiliary power systems
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of transmission Power Take-Off (PTO) systems and hydraulic systems, including both high- and low-pressure hydraulic systems
- Above-average mathematical skills
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage complex projects and diverse product lines
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Demonstrated multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
- A problem-solving mindset with strong analytical abilities
