Skill Level(s): Manager

  • accelerate the timely, reliable, and secure delivery of publicly available data, and information, as described by the Organization to support automating data collection, transformation, and exploitation.
  • provide customized products and services for a wide variety of endeavors, including all operational and targeting components defined by the Organization, as well as several support elements.
  • utilize in-house capabilities and tradecraft as well as industry standards, to ensure the automated collection and structuring of publicly available, internet-based data, as specified by the Organization.
  • utilize in-house capabilities as well as publicly available information and industry standards to pinpoint locations of interest.
  • work closely with the Organization’s product owner and program manager to deliver user stories necessary to realize product vision.
  • coordinate with multiple entities, including mission partners, to ensure tools meet defined requirements.
  • apply DevOps principles and philosophies to continuously delivery high value enhancements to software in a service-based architecture.
  • support data engineering efforts to analyze large data sets to derive data relationships.
  • maintain all source code in Organization-wide, remote Git repository.

Required Skills

The Candidate shall possess and provide the following required skills and demonstrated experience:

  • developing in Java.
  • with Scripting Languages such as SSH, Python, JavaScript.
  • advanced query functions in relational databases.
  • Apache Tomcat Application Servlets.
  • maintaining data across various systems and databases.
  • aggregating data across structured data files (JSON, XML, CSV, YAML, and XLSX) and handling and processing dirty data and unstructured data.
  • performing data analysis and data clustering.
  • Git as a source code repository.
  • collecting and processing data, particular data presented in machine learning (translation skills not required).

Highly Desired Skills

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

  • working to accredit systems for the Organization’s cloud environment according to the Organization’s security requirements.
  • running DataCTRL ETL tool.
  • NiFi to ETL data.
  • Data Management.
