A highly collaborative, creative, and strategic position that is responsible for driving the business, development, and execution of assigned product categories. The position will develop product in accordance with merchandising plans across all Revman brands that meet sales and gross margin objectives. This position acts as a critical, central point of information between design, product development, packaging, sales and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will own product development for their assigned categories. Initiating, overseeing, and coordinating product development from ideation through to, development, launch and post-launch analysis.
- Responsible for meeting the sales budget for the assigned product category
- Responsible for working with all accounts, all channels, in the development of Revman products across bed and bath
- Candidate will take a broad view of the competitive landscape to determine where the Company’s products are positioned against competitors with respect to design, price and value
- Proactively drive the business in assigned product categories, identifying new opportunities
- Must be a forward thinker with the ability to think ahead of customer and merch plan needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors including consistent communication and dialogue on what is new
- Continually gather new swatches and ideas partnering with design, brand management and sales
- Continually be in the know and on top of assigned product category

- Responsible for ensuring that all products and suggested vendors are brand approved, partnering with brand management team
- Responsible for working with vendors to maintain current programs and source and develop new product offerings and constructions
- Provide clear, necessary guidelines and product specifications for PD and design
- Responsible for ensuring qualities, samples, pricing are on hand and on time for upcoming customer meetings
- Ensure that product meets the sales, pricing and margin goals of the company
- Responsible for working with sales, planning and our vendors to meet all production minimums
- Responsible for managing carton sizes, case packs, container fill information for each potential quote
- Responsible for communicating with compliance team on new product testing
- Responsible for transitioning current programs to new suppliers due to supply chain issues
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally with multiple teams
- Coordinate and clearly communicate product development and sample needs with design
- Identify packaging needs and communicate details to the packaging team, both new and existing
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
- Minimum of five years of previous experience in product management or buying line exposure with an understanding of retail cycles
- Knowledge of competitive market is vital in order to determine future trends and needs in addition to identifying core product opportunities
- Must be able to multi-task on a routine basis, be detail-oriented, adapt plans and change direction as needed, have a proactive mindset and have the ability to perform the job under a moderate to high level of stress
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include Excel
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in PLM
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in order to effectively communicate and report information to all levels of the Company and effectively communicate with international vendors
- Possess strong organizational, negotiation and analytical skills
- Possess a team oriented mentality
- Previous experience in successfully handling time sensitive projects and meeting assigned deadlines
- Must be able to prioritize work/projects and answer questions related to work assignments in a fast paced environment

- Ability to work with minimal supervision on a daily basis
