Creative Art Primary Teacher – Art, Music And Photography

Location: Basingstoke

Salary Scale: £31,650 to £49,084 annually

As a Creative Arts Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across multiple creative subjects. You’ll work within a Senior support Teacher capacity, providing tailored support to students with a variety of needs, including behavioural, emotional, and social challenges. Your role will focus on fostering creativity and providing the necessary tools for students to thrive both academically and personally.

Creative Art Primary Teacher Role

  • Deliver dynamic lessons in Art, Music, and Photography, tailored to the needs of each student.
  • Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Implement creative teaching methods that engage students and help them develop their artistic abilities.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where students feel empowered to express themselves through art, music, and photography.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, supporting their personal growth and educational journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure students receive the best possible support.
  • Use appropriate teaching aids, resources, and materials to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements ForCreative Art Primary Teacher Role

  • Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a similar qualification.
  • A strong passion for Art, Music, and Photography, and an ability to inspire students in these subjects
  • A full checkable work history
  • Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
  • A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
