Job Description

The purpose of this role to is to execute the day-to-day operational activities required to maintain a secure and stable cloud environment. The role provides technical support expertise, resolving issues to maximise the accessibility and availability of cloud services to the business.

Key responsibilities:

Provides technical expertise across cloud technologies

Executes standards to maintain the security, integrity and accessibility of the network, ensuring governance and compliance is upheld

Manages incident, request, change and problem tickets effectively to maintain consistent Service Level Targets

Maintains effective working relations with key customers, partners and stakeholders

Familiarity working in cloud environments, specifically AWS, with components including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, etc.

Understanding of AWS database technologies like Redshift and RDS is a plus.

Expertise with Linux operating system environments (Alma Linux 9, RHEL, Ubuntu)

Strong understanding of web/DB applications, such as Apache, nginx,MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems

Experience using monitoring solutions like Nagios Cloudwatch cloudtrail

Configure and maintain backup, monitoring and alerting systems

DevOps : Basic understanding of Jenkins, Git and Docker)

Experience with Scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, etc. is required.

Excellent Problem-solving , Communication Abilities And Collaboration Skills

Basic Understanding of SLA process
