This role is for a Qualitative/Quantitative research team who focuses in UX research and Consumer Insights.
This person will serve as single point for client and for the team and leads (directly/oversees) all aspects of data collection and field management, including sample and quota design, deployment plans, field work monitoring, managing field related issues, and managing panel vendors to meet client’s field objectives.
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in qualitative/quantitative research within a market research context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget management – Proper tracking and controls to ensure that project is completed within the allocated budget and thereby meeting the margin target
- Quality management – Ensure quality of the deliverables by applying the best practices, following the processes and review. Ensure deliverables are meeting client requirements and of high standards
- Timeline management – Prepare, plan, manage and communicate the timelines and ensure adherence to the agreed schedule
- Client management – Prompt communication with client POCs to keep them informed about the status
- Supplier management – Manage relationship with the suppliers to ensure timely delivery of the services with high quality output
- Internal stakeholder management – Keep supervisors, team members and account managers updated about the project status and timely alerts in case of escalations
- Compliance management – Ensure compliance to legal requirements, agreed terms and conditions, and data security/privacy guidelines
- Invoice & Payment management – Timely invoicing and vendor payments
Major tasks:
- Ensure that all projects are completed within budget and in a timely manner
- Check and compare actual project requirements against costed projects requirements and report differences to seniors
- Check feasibility of project execution (timelines included) and flag any concerns
- The person will take ownership of the assigned project(s) under limited guidance of the supervisor
- Build the project plan with clear timelines for each milestone. Set up and implement new and on-going projects. Provide timely status reports, project analysis and recommendations. Proactively identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans
- Organize meetings with internal stakeholders such as survey programming, data processing and coding teams to ensure seamless execution of projects
- Tasks may include:
- Contribute ideas to improve look and feel of survey with a view to improve respondent engagement
- Define sampling plan and identify potential bottlenecks
- Analyze key project metrics with a view to improve performance
- Ensure quality measures are followed and update clients regularly on project progress
- Ensure key project performance metrics such as project profitability are met or exceed established guidelines
- Consistently exceed client expectations from project inception through completion
- Closely liaise with clients for projects briefing and post survey information
- Ensure invoices/purchase orders are raised on time and vendor invoices are sent within the timeframe
- Closure on sample suppliers in terms of final counts, debit/credits, invoicing etc.
- Assist supervisor on training and mentoring junior members of the team
- The senior project director is also expected to gain expertise over a period of time in acquiring new skill and knowledge. For e.g. expertise towards executing studies in a specific industry vertical, Fulcrum etc.
- Support the team in preparing invoices of completed projects in a timely manner
- Keep the internal tools fully updated on a daily basis so that everybody can know exactly the status of a project by checking the tools
- Ensure maximum client satisfaction by maintaining high level of quality for client deliverables, periodic communication on the progress of the project
- Resolving escalations and proactively taking corrective measures and ensuring successful closure of issues.
- Communicate effectively with vendors (i.e., panel companies, translation agencies, CATI partners)
- Keep clients and supervisor in the loop and involve them whenever there is a change in the project specs
- Escalate any outstanding issue to supervisor as soon as identified
- Ensure process documents are updated from time to time
- Contribute to team meetings by being prepared and sharing ideas
