Summary: The Risk Operations Coordinator will join a team that drives value for Onbe and Onbe’s clients by proactively identifying and addressing unusual activity while ensuring the health and wellness of all programs. The highly visible role will identify and escalate unusual activity that could pose a financial or reputational threat to the business. The results-driven candidate will drive brand integrity through risk mitigation while focusing heavily on procedural tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor dashboards for unusual activity and aggregate cases via supplemental data pulls using SQL queries in Snowflake.
  • Report findings to management and liaise with various internal business units and external partners throughout the course of investigations.
  • Drive investigations from discovery to reporting in accordance with SLAs.
  • Compose Unusual Activity Reports for activity that is indicative of fraud, ML, or program misuse.
  • Monitor risk-related typologies and make determinations for escalation.
  • Execute processes and procedures to mitigate risk and exposure accurately and effectively.
  • Examine typology-based dashboards and reports and provide reporting to the business.
  • Provide high-level reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis to the department manager.
  • Assist in the development of risk-related strategies in our fraud technology to mitigate high-risk activity.
  • Collaborate with management to build out Onbe’s risk mitigation tactics.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of fraud and/or AML investigations experience.
  • Understanding of investigations/fraud mitigation/AML fields.
  • Working knowledge of data warehouses, PowerBI, and experience manipulating SQL queries.
  • Effectively communicate complex data to various audiences through written and verbal channels.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive results by working independently and on a team through effective communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with focus on Excel and Word.

The base salary range for this position is between $47,610 to $55,650 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
