You will be responsible for developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. You will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.

Have a keen interest in the business problem and have a strong business acumen, be updated with the latest information on the industry. Exposure to, and practical knowledge of industry and business functions is preferred.

Have a passion and deep experience in descriptive analytics & reporting. Have expertise in problem solving, efficiently analyzing very large customer data sets from multiple, disparate sources.

Compile and analyze the results from modeling output and translate into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Data analysis: Performing statistical analyses, exploring data, and identifying patterns

Data visualization: Using data visualization tools like Qlik Sense, Power BI and Looker to identify patterns and showcase findings to stakeholders

Diagnostic analysis: Comparing descriptive data to identify relationships and patterns to understand why a problem is occurring

Predictive analysis: Using data to form projections about the future, such as using historical records to make predictions about future events

Process improvement: Setting up processes to make data more efficient, ensuring quality assurance, and defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Reporting: Reporting trends to add business value

Work on Cloud Platform like GCP

Support client objectives and project goals through data analysis, data mining by developing data-driven and insightful reports, visualizations, dashboards, and communicating results using appropriate programming languages & visualization tools such as Python, SQL, Alteryx, Qlik Sense, PowerBI.

Understand project team requirements, processes data sets of different complexities ensuring quality and integrity, generates insightful reports, develops appropriate wireframes/visualization and associated data workflows

Business SME knowledge in accounting is preferable – GL, Recon, AR, AP etc.,

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Statistics / Econometrics/ Operation Research or any other quantitative discipline or an Engineering degree with MBA from a premier institute and quantitative emphasis.

4-8 years of experience in Data Analytics, Insight Generation, Automation, Data Visualization and/or Data Science

Proficiency in programming, preferably Python/PySpark, and SQL for Data Analysis

Experience of working on cloud platforms, especially GCP

BI Tools: 3+ years in Power BI (preferred) and/or Tableau

Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks

Ability to work under minimal supervision, using independent judgment
