Responsibilities
- Provide key administrative support to a senior-level editor at Oprah Daily, including precise correspondence, calendar scheduling and invites, organized record keeping, and inbox management; travel; and filing expenses.
- Display strong editorial and professional judgment along with strong writing experience and creative thinking.
- Assist with key editorial production tasks for digital, social, print, video and Community, including pitching building, updating, and optimizing content; researching stories aligned with the voice and tone of the Oprah Daily brand.
- Pitch, produce, and assist collaboratively in building content for the editor’s monthly video column.
- Prepare detailed itineraries for travel, maintain daily working schedule, and assist with arrivals and departures.
- Provide onsite assistance for special presentations and appearances.
- Collaborate closely with the editor to draft key remarks, scripts, and articles.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information and upcoming public events.
- Liaison among other teams across the editor’s professional and personal network.

The base salary for this role is $60,000 – $63,000 . The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
This position is based in the NYC office a minimum of 3 days a week.
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
