Junior Key Account Manager – Jumia (Full Time)

What You Will Be Doing

• Steering the performance of the assigned sellers pool towards achieving the preset targets and objectives
• Managing relationships with new and current sellers (includes talking to them every day and developing rapport)
• Obtaining weekly-promotion items from sellers
• Securing new releases as soon as the sellers have them
• Monitoring stock levels and planning the replenishment with the seller well in advance.
• Negotiating pricing and deals for Tier 1 Campaigns – Jumia Anniversary, Black Friday
• Having accurate knowledge of competition: who they are, what prices they have and their products.
• Monitoring account health and performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to sellers
• Monitoring and address any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and effectively

What We Are Looking For

• Seller management or Purchasing experience
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
• Knowledge of suppliers of category products is an added advantage.
• Proactive and has proven ability to deliver exceptional results despite operational challenge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power -point) tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
• Good problem-solving skills required
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work to deadlines and targets, can prioritize tasks under pressure.
