Job Description

Tempura Matsui is a Michelin-starred tempura omakase restaurant in Marray Hill.

We are seeking an enthusiastic line cook to join our team. 1+ year of culinary experience in fine-dining and/or upscale dining is preferred but not required. We want someone who has the willingness to grow with the team, be hard-working and team-oriented. Interest in Japanese cuisine is a plus.

  • ability to learn, understand, and execute menus

  • maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
  • ability to explain or answer all food preparation related questions
  • assists team members if needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of culinary experience in restaurant
  • demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
  • able to work in a team environment
  • strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
