Truworths International Group is one of the leading retailers in Africa with 795 mainly Truworths and Identity stores, together with 81 Office stores and concessions in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Truworths is synonymous with superior quality, aspirational fashion and has a portfolio of some of South Africa’s most desired apparel brands, most of which are owned by the Group and have been developed over the past four decades. We are looking for HR Professionals that have a passion for people development and is innovative in approach. This role requires you to partner with Line Managers in the Merchant Area of the business to facilitate and drive:
- General HR support to both Line Managers and employees
- Support Line Managers with leadership development and retention, in line with Truworths’ Purpose, Values and Vision
- Assist in the overall performance management of employees
- Mentoring, developing and recruiting young talent on our Graduate Merchant Trainee Programme
