ARAI, Pune is a premier Automotive Research Institute, with the Ministry of Heavy Industries, involved in R&D, Homologation, Testing & Certification, Calibration & Skill Development services to Automotive and Allied industries globally.
We are looking for the following position for our Emission Certification Laboratory (ECL)
Designation: Assistant Manager (Engine Testing)– (ARAI Regular)
Location: HTC Chakan
The candidate should be minimum B.E. Mechanical or Automobile Engineer degree from reputed University with First Class with good record of academic career with relevant experience of 2+ years in the area of testing of automotive Engine Testing & On-Road Emission Measurement for Heavy duty and Non-road vehicles testing with good communication skills.
Candidates should possess necessary skill sets mentioned in below job description.
Job Description:
- To conduct test on engines as per existing Govt. regulations.
- To conduct on road emission testing on heavy duty & Non-road vehicles.
- To Prepare test report to testing engines.
- Equipment in-house maintenance and calibration.
- Assistance in engine test related activities.
- Implementation of 5S activities in test cell area and test cell up-keepment.
- Day to day engine dyno calibration, maintenance and breakdown.
- To Conduct overall maintenance of engine dyno test cell as per planner.
- Any other related assignments/tasks as per departments requirements .
